Each hotel’s footprint is calculated according to the ISO 14067 and GHG Protocol standards and displayed in consistent units — carbon (kg CO₂e per room night), water (liters per room night), and waste (kg per room night).

This allows you to integrate emissions data directly into your internal sustainability reports and CSRD or ESG disclosures.

Each hotel’s environmental footprint is benchmarked against others in the same region, resulting in an efficiency class (A–D) based on quartile distribution:


• A: top 25%
• B: next 25%
• C/D: lower 50%

Only hotels in classes A and B — those performing in the top 50% for environmental efficiency — are displayed with the Green Stay leaf in booking channels.
