FAQ's

The Steps

This optimization allows hotels to process payments quickly and safely in only 3 steps:

1

Find payment instructions

The document is attached to the booking confirmation email or fax. It contains all the information you need to know about the booking, the payment with HRS VCC and the list of allowed services and invoice details. In case you need support please check out the confirmation to receive the relevant support email address.

3

Process payment

Charge the virtual credit card ONLY for approved costs at check-in/check-out. They can be found in the respective section of the Payment Instructions.

4

Issue and send invoice

Please review the Payment Instructions for detailed directions on how to issue and send the invoice correctly. It is imperative that the hotel follow these instructions exactly as indicated to ensure proper processing and compliance.

What amount can I charge
on the VCC?

The VCC can only be charged for the booking value and/or allowed services. The traveler is responsible for the direct payment of any consumed non-listed services. Unauthorized charges will be charged back.

Can the hotel charge the card more than once?

The VCC can be charged up to three times, but only for the booking value and/or allowed services.

Important

For compliance reasons, unmasked credit card information can be retreived either via hotel PMS, channel manager (if PCI compliant) or via HRS Hotel Service Portal: https://hotelservice.hrs.com/portal.

Support

In case you need support, one dedicated team will be provided for help. Consult the Payment Instructions to get all details relevant for easy VCC processing at your hotel.
