Results:

Challenge

Consolidating a global travel program in a highly decentralized environment.

Fragmented processes, suppliers and data across markets made it difficult to gain a reliable view of hotel spend, monitor compliance and support strategic decision-making with trusted, consolidated insights.

Solution

Ferrero implemented a centralized global hotel program built on a single travel policy, a unified booking platform and an integrated ecosystem powered by SAP Concur and HRS LaaS Prime.

By standardizing processes and connecting systems, Ferrero strengthened program governance, improved data quality and created a single source of truth for hotel spend—enabling better visibility and more informed decision-making across the organization.

The Challenge

Operating in 170 countries, Ferrero managed a global travel program that had evolved over time through different processes, suppliers and operating models across markets.

This fragmented landscape limited visibility into hotel spend, made it difficult to consolidate reliable data and reduced the ability to manage the program consistently on a global scale.

Ferrero's objective was clear: build a more harmonized and centralized hotel program that would strengthen governance, improve compliance and provide better data for strategic decision-making without compromising the traveler experience.

The Solution

Ferrero partnered with HRS to implement a centralized global hotel program built on a single travel policy, a unified booking platform and an integrated ecosystem combining SAP Concur and HRS LaaS Prime.

By standardizing processes and connecting systems, Ferrero created a scalable global program that improved governance, enhanced data quality and fostered closer collaboration between global and local teams.

The Results

The transformation has already delivered measurable business outcomes:

- 13% reduction in Average Daily Rate (ADR)

- 80% SAP Concur adoption

- 8.5/10 traveler satisfaction

Beyond these results, Ferrero has gained greater visibility into its hotel program and significantly improved data quality, enabling more informed, data-driven decision-making.

Looking Ahead

Ferrero continues to evolve its global hotel program with a strong focus on automation, data quality and global governance.

The goal is to build an increasingly integrated and scalable ecosystem that supports the company's growth strategy and future merger and acquisition (M&A) activities.
