ADR / Average Daily Rate

Average room rate achieved or paid per occupied room night; used as a hotel pricing and benchmarking metric.

Ancillary Fee

Additional charge beyond base fare or room rate, such as breakfast, parking, resort fees or other hotel add-ons.

Bleisure

Combination of business and leisure travel, often requiring policy clarity around reimbursable and personal costs.

Cancellation Policy

Rules defining when a hotel booking can be cancelled and what penalties or fees apply.

Chain Code

Identifier used in GDS and hotel distribution systems to represent a hotel chain or brand.

#

Commission

Payment made by a hotel or supplier to a booking intermediary for generating a booking.

Contracted Rate

Negotiated rate agreed between a company, TMC or sourcing partner and a hotel or chain.

Corporate Rate

CRS / Central Reservation System

Dynamic Rate

Rate that changes based on market pricing, often linked to a discount off best available rate.

Incidentals
